Hello everybody!

We are announcing a migration to a new page for our RedBrick AI web app changelogs: https://docs.redbrickai.com/changelogs/redbrick-changelog

Today's log for 1.4.0 will be the last changelog published to this subdomain (changelog.redbrickai.com). Please use the new page for all future updates!

Thanks from us,

The RedBrick AI Team

Added:

  • Analytics 2.0 - the Filter button on the Project Data Page can now apply a range of new filters based on a Task’s Object Labels, Classifications, Creation Date, and much more (and yes, they’ll persist if you navigate away!)

  • Projects and Workspaces can now be archived (which places them in a special “Archived” Section) and can then be unarchived

  • A Download JSON button is now available in the UI for each Taxonomy

  • An Upload JSON button is now available in the UI when creating a new Taxonomy

  • A brand new bot for our RedBrick AI docs that’s actually helpful. (If you find it misbehaving, we’d love to hear about it!)

  • Multiple Organizations, which can be created by ORG OWNERS and provide expanded user management

  • The Help Button now contains a performance test that can be used to benchmark a user’s machine

  • The Windowing Panel now directly instructs the user to use the control button to window with the mouse

  • A paused Boost instance will now automatically start up if a user selects F.A.S.T. or the Mask Propagation Tool in the Editor. The Boost instances should be fully automatically starting and stopping for all use cases. This greatly optimizes the cost.

  • A visual indicator that a user action has restarted a previously paused Boost instance

  • Select and Multiselect Attribute Options can now be modified in the Taxonomy UI

  • Infrastructure for improved billing experience

Changed:

  • Clicking on a Taxonomy in Project Settings now redirects to the actual Taxonomy itself and not the Taxonomies Page

  • Projects can now have up to 8 Review Stages. You asked for this!

Fixed:

  • Some newly added Project Workforce Members were in stealth mode until the user refreshed the page

  • A suboptimal flow for users who created new accounts but rejected their Organization invitation

  • Certain visual elements of Object Label Attributes hung around after the Attribute type was changed on the Taxonomy Page

  • Two snackbars were overlapping in non-Chrome browsers

  • The text filter in the Auto Annotator’s Taxonomy Label search field was sometimes ignoring user input

  • The pipeline chart on the Project Overview Page was occasionally disallowing scrolling

  • The width of some columns in the UI was bothering our Designer

  • The Comments field of the Editor should now be more comfortable to use

  • A visualization error with Cuboids on a specific type of scan

  • The Labeled and Unlabeled chips in Consensus Merge were misbehaving in one specific circumstance

  • Read-only Classifications in the Consensus Merge pop-up window are now more distinguished from their writable counterparts

  • Selecting an option in a Multiselect Attribute or Classification in the Editor no longer closes the window

Removed:

  • Bulk Actions are no longer accessible in Multiple Labeling Projects (i.e. Consensus Best, Consensus Merge, Task Duplication)

  • The annual survey - a sincere “thank you!” to everyone who contributed feedback!
